I have a question consulting my career choice in Cosmetology?

Next Fall, I plan on attending college for Cosmetology here in Ohio. After a few years, I would like to move to California and pursue my career out there since there is more job opportunities than the small town I reside in. Is that possible for me to do? I would have to get a license to work out there, right? If so, what would I have to do in order to obtain a license out there?

Anything is possible. All you would have to do is find out if California has reporocity with your state. If they do, You can just “buy” your license. However, If they don’t, And California has more hours than your state, You would have to go back to school and complete the required hours, and retake the board exam. If California has the same or less hours that Ohio, You would have to just take the board exam, again.
