Be an architect, civil engineers are the peons of engineers and it just doesnt pay off. If you get an arch degree it would take 2 years to get c.e. degree and 3 for an astronomer.
If your going for engineer I recomend either mechanical, a safe bet, or nuclear could be the future

astromer is prestigious but i prefer civil engr i also want to become a civil engr before i took computer engrng.. civil engr is in demand esp that a lot of countries right now are developing.. and u get a really high salary for that rather than being an architect. if u took architect and shift to civil engr i think most of the credits are also accepted in the civil engrg subject so no need to take them ago.. im not just sure how long it will take shifting courses

Astronomy and design are soooooooooo FAR apart. Architecture and Civil Engineering are so close.
What’s wrong with you kids? You’re the 3rd one that doesn’t seem to know they can consult with a Career Counselor at your school. Doesn’t anyone tell you this? (oops sorry…that’s a question.)

One should have so many career choice problems, as an Architect you may not have time to pursue a Civil Engineer or Astronomer career. If you find you do, then all the better. If you are really motivated I guess you could accomplish them all. After all you have a lifetime don’t you?
