At 48 Is it too late to make a career change ?
Freddy asked:
I have very little internet experience. I use to be in sales. I want to start a new career in the web development field with Asp.Net. What are my chances to succeed at my age?(48). Can I expect to learn the material in 1 year at 3 H of study & practice per day? Please give some advices. Thank you so much for your time.

It is never too late to learn anything. On the contrary, learning something new makes you younger mentally. Good Luck!

I believe that it is NEVER too late to go after something that will make you happy! So you’re 48, big deal. That doesn’t make you any less qualified than the 18 year olds studying the same thing. I’m sure it helps being fresh outta high school, because you’re mind is still sharp, but with a couple refresher courses, or a course on efficient studying or note taking, (check an adult education center) you should be fine. I would say your chance of success is just as high as anyone else’s. I think what determines your success or failure is you. Your drive, motivation and how badly you want it!
You really dont know until you try, and if nothing else, school is NEVER a mistake.
